Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines are expanding their combined global network with new nonstop service connecting Seattle with Osaka, Japan and Papeete, French Polynesia.

The new routes give travelers new nonstop options from Seattle to Asia and the Pacific, extending the combined carrier's international reach.

The expansion is part of Alaska Air Group's effort to build a more global network as the two airlines continue to integrate operations.
