Avolon, the Dublin-based aircraft leasing company, has placed a firm order with Airbus for 110 aircraft. The order comprises 35 A330-900 widebody jets and 75 A320neo Family aircraft.
Confirmed by Airbus on October 9, 2026, the purchase takes Avolon's total A330-900 orders to 114 aircraft, making it the manufacturer's largest lessor customer for the A330neo widebody.
Avolon said the firm order also includes options for a further 100 Airbus aircraft. The new orders are intended to support the long-term fleet requirements of the lessor's airline customers.
Following the order, Avolon's total firm aircraft commitments have risen to 749 aircraft.
