Collaborative Combat Aircraft have arrived at Creech Air Force Base, the US Air Force said, marking a step toward integrating the uncrewed systems into operational units.

Collaborative Combat Aircraft, or CCAs, are relatively low-cost uncrewed aircraft designed to fly alongside manned fighters and support missions with sensors, electronic warfare, and weapons.

Creech Air Force Base in Nevada has long been a hub for the Air Force's remotely piloted aircraft operations. The arrival there signals progress in bringing the systems into real-world squadrons and integrating them with crewed aircraft.
