A departing Delta Air Lines jet clipped an Air Canada plane at Los Angeles International Airport on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. The Air Canada aircraft had arrived from Toronto before the ground incident occurred.

The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed the incident, according to CBS News. Video from the scene showed visible damage to the Air Canada plane after what was described as an apparent collision on the ground.

No injuries were reported among passengers or crew.
