Engine-overhaul times for Emirates' Airbus A380 fleet have increased sharply, from a contracted 85 days to more than 350 days, according to Aviation Week.

The longer turnaround times mean aircraft are spending more time out of service awaiting engine work, restricting the airline's ability to grow its A380 network and capacity.

Emirates, the world's largest operator of the Airbus A380, relies on the superjumbo for much of its long-haul flying from Dubai.
