Flydubai Flight FZ1073, traveling from Dubai to Tel Aviv, was diverted after a struggle in the cockpit on Wednesday, September 30.

According to Israeli officials and media reports, the co-pilot allegedly stabbed the captain and attempted to crash the aircraft before crew and passengers overpowered him.

The aircraft landed in Saudi Arabia, and the passengers later returned safely to Israel. Israel's prime minister described the diversion as a serious security incident.
