Heart Aerospace has unveiled the ES-36, a 36-seat hybrid-electric regional airliner, alongside a deposit-backed agreement with JSX for 50 aircraft.

The deal also includes purchase rights for 50 additional aircraft, bringing the potential total to up to 100.

The ES-36 replaces the company's earlier ES-30 concept, with the manufacturer citing greater payload and longer hybrid-electric range.
