Canadian kit aircraft manufacturer Murphy Aircraft, based in Chilliwack, British Columbia, has gone out of business and ended factory operations. The company produced kits for amateur-built aircraft such as the Rebel and Moose.

According to reporting by Canadian Aviator magazine, the company's assets were sold at a public auction in late October 2026. Sam Garandza, general manager of Able Auctions, described the sale as a success, saying everything sold.

Items offered at auction included tools, machines, some partially built aircraft, and amphibious floats. The closure brings an end to the manufacturer's kit production and builder support.
