Sikorsky and the U.S. Army have reached an initial production agreement covering 16 Black Hawk helicopters, according to a report by AirMed&Rescue.
The UH-60 Black Hawk is a widely used military utility helicopter built by Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company. It serves in transport, medical evacuation, and combat support roles across the U.S. Army.
The report did not disclose the financial value or delivery timeline for the initial 16-aircraft batch. The deal represents the start of a production commitment under the Army's broader Black Hawk fleet requirements.
