Uzbekistan has taken delivery of its first Embraer C-390 Millennium military transport aircraft, the Brazilian manufacturer has confirmed.

The delivery marks the tactical transport's entry into service with an operator in Central Asia, making Uzbekistan the region's first C-390 operator.

The handover of the aircraft took place on September 25.

The C-390 Millennium is Embraer's medium tactical airlift aircraft, in service with a growing number of air forces worldwide.
