The U.S. Coast Guard has located a debris field confirmed to be from a missing medical transport aircraft off the coast of Nantucket, Massachusetts.

The air ambulance was traveling from Bermuda to Boston when air traffic controllers lost contact with it early on Saturday, October 3, 2026.

Six people were aboard the aircraft, and the Coast Guard said search crews would continue searching through the night.

The search remained ongoing as of Sunday, with authorities continuing to work to locate the aircraft and those aboard.
