Deutsche Aircraft has opened a final assembly line for its D328eco regional airliner, industry publication Leeham News reported on October 1.

The D328eco is a modernized regional turboprop based on the Dornier 328 design, aimed at regional and short-haul markets.

Establishing the final assembly line is a milestone for the program as Deutsche Aircraft moves the D328eco toward production.
