German manufacturer Deutsche Aircraft has opened the final assembly line for its D328eco regional turboprop aircraft.

The D328eco is a modernized version of the Dornier 328, a twin-engine regional turboprop originally introduced in the early 1990s.

Opening the final assembly line marks a step toward series production of the D328eco for regional operators.
