General Atomics Aeronautical Systems (GA-ASI) announced that a new FQ-42 Vengeance was delivered to Creech Air Force Base, Nevada, on September 18 to continue operations with U.S. Air Force test and evaluation units.

The delivery is the latest milestone for the Air Force's Collaborative Combat Aircraft program, which features the FQ-42 Vengeance designed and produced by GA-ASI.

The FQ-42 Vengeance is a fifth-generation uncrewed fighter with an internal weapons bay and features designed for low observability and increased survivability.

The aircraft made its maiden flight in August 2025 and was selected for an initial production contract in June 2026, with GA-ASI positioned to deliver six aircraft per month to meet Air Force goals.
