Honda Aircraft Company has pushed back the schedule for its HA-480 HondaJet Echelon, the Greensboro, North Carolina-based manufacturer's larger light business jet and a stretched, larger-cabin follow-up to the HA-420 HondaJet.

First flight, originally targeted for 2026, is now planned for 2028, while certification and first customer delivery have slipped to 2031.

The company attributed the revised timeline to supply chain issues and schedule adjustments involving its tier-one suppliers.
