Martin Aviation, LLC officially opened a new aircraft maintenance facility at Cullman Regional Airport - Folsom Field in Vinemont, Alabama, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, October 22, 2026.

The 13,000-square-foot facility will provide maintenance and inspection services for jet and turboprop aircraft, filling a need for turbine maintenance directly on the field. The grand opening was hosted in partnership with the Cullman Regional Airport Authority and the Cullman Economic Development Agency.

Owner Chris Martin, who runs the company with his wife Cheris, opened Martin Aviation at Scottsboro Municipal Airport in 2018. The company now serves clients across 19 states and is recognized as a Textron Large MRO facility, and it plans to keep both its Scottsboro and Cullman locations running.
