Archer Aviation and ITA Airways have announced plans to bring electric air taxis to Italy, according to a report from Military Aerospace.

The partnership aims to establish electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) air taxi operations in the Italian market.

Archer's eVTOL aircraft are designed for urban air mobility, and the agreement with ITA Airways extends the company's international expansion efforts.
